Welp, the Spring 2012 school semester is over, and I can only sum up these past few months as a period of personal growth and self re-evaluation plagued by existential angst. Sounds dramatic, yes–but I can’t help but invest every ounce of emotion into what I do. In this time, I began deeper exploration of philosophy while examining my own beliefs, interests, and experiences.

I’m beginning my first large and truly self directed project, creating a sphere out of circles to be photographed to be put in a movie loop…..(but I will break down my concept for this in a later post)

It’s nice to step away from painting for a bit.

This is the template that begins the process of the construction of the sculpture. An abstract symbol that will hopefully come to mean something.
